Lilies are in full bloom right now. If you don't grow your own, pick some up at a garden center or grocery store. When you get them home, give the ends a fresh diagonal cut (cut off about 1/2" from the bottom) and put them quickly into fresh, clean, room-temperature water. Break or cut off dead flowers daily and change the water daily to make the bouquet last longer.
Interesting note: Flowers have special meanings, many that date back to Victorian times.
