This is not a health food but it is sure to be a hit at a pot luck. Enjoy on a rare occasion.
HERBED
CHEESE SPREAD

oz. Cream Cheese Block

stick butter
1
clove garlic, crushed
1/8
tsp. dill
1/8
tsp. basil
1/8
tsp marjoram
1/8
tsp thyme
1/8
tsp oregano
1/8
tsp. pepper
1/8
tsp. salt
Combine in mixer (I used a food processor). Mix well.
Serve with crackers. Can be frozen. Makes 1 ½ cups. The
recipe is for dried herbs and I used fresh herbs from our garden, so I tripled
the amount of herbs (not garlic, though). Use with the cracker of your choice. I find that Wheat Thins work well.
